Welcome to our 2023-2024 Season
Welcome to our 2023-2024 season where we explore the theme of nurture. This year’s stories guide our audiences to look around at the world, at nature, at other people and ask: how can I help? What can I give?
Ideas of nurturing begin with our interactive outdoor performance, The Drama Garden, where we plant some seeds of playfulness and watch imagination bloom. In Tiny Treasures, we meet James, a young caregiver who struggles to look after his mom and sister, as well as himself, sometimes with frustration but also with great humour. Lig & Bittle features two very different people who help each other to accept themselves just as they are, and nurture an unexpected friendship along the way. Pop! Pop! takes us on an underwater adventure brought to life through inventive design, puppets and audience participation as we explore and care for all the living creatures of a coral reef. We conclude our season with the first ever Niagara Children’s Festival – a weekend of live performances and creative activities for families and young audiences.
Nurture your imagination, nurture our world, and nurture the young people in your life with Carousel Players this year.
