Current Season

Welcome to our 2022-2023 Season

Carousel Players just turned 50! As we return to theatres, gyms and communities with our live touring productions in 2022/2023, we are thrilled to offer a season of hope to young people everywhere. Each of our plays has been crafted with care to bring messages of hope, optimism and joy to our audiences. We invite you to share these experiences with your students and families as, together, we rekindle the unique excitement of live performance.

Hope to see you soon!

Community Events

free family activities across the niagara region

Carousel Players’ staff, artists and volunteers look forward to meeting you at community events in the Niagara Region!

At Carousel Players, we bring our plays to dozens of schools and theatres every year, but we also travel around Niagara to create meaningful connections with our friends and neighbours in all corners of the Region.

Whether we are welcoming community members to our annual Community Picnic and Culture Days activities, or participating in festivals with Dragon on the Hill and the Giant Puppet Party, engaging with families is at the core of what we do, year round.

Giant Puppet Party

Carousel Players and professional designer and puppeteer Alexa Fraser bring you Carousel Players’ Giant Puppet Party, an outdoor, family friendly activity.
The first step – make your puppet!
Next step – PARTY!

Dragon on the Hill

ONCE UPON A TIME, IN A PLACE NOT TOO FAR FROM HERE, THERE LIVED A DRAGON…
The Dragon likes to look down at all the people in the town below as they go about their lives. But the Dragon feels like something is missing. With the help of the audience, the Dragon will discover what it needed all along.
