Carousel Players creates our shows because we believe in the impact the live performing arts have on children – and we’re not the only ones! Studies performed by theatres for young audiences show that attending live theatre performances helps kids to

- build empathy.
Engaging with live performance and drama classes is proven to
- increase academic performance,

- create a sense of belonging and hope for the future!

At Carousel Players, we create touring plays and classroom resources to ensure that the children in our audiences can access all these benefits right in the school where they spend their day!
How it works
Carousel Players’ touring shows travel across Niagara, Hamilton, Halton, and Brant to bring professional theatre performances to students in their schools – no need for a field trip!
Our touring performances are presented in the school gym or theatre. All bookings of touring performances include classroom resources for teachers to extend the educational benefit of the performances (learn more here).

Does your school have limited resources for extra-curricular programs? Ask us about our Caravan Fund to subsidize or cover the cost of bringing a Carousel show to your school.
No Cancellation Fees – “You don’t pay until you see the play!” That means no down payments, no booking fees, no admin fees, and absolutely no loss of precious school funds due to cancellations.

Schools that book more save more!
Schools get 10% off each additional performance when booking multiple viewings of the same show or performances for multiple different shows in one academic year.
Discounts will be calculated once all bookings have been confirmed.
