Carousel Players was pleased to offer our first ever March Break Camps for children ages 4 through 10 this year. With the success of our Summer Theatre School we are excited to be adding more opportunities for children and youth in Niagara to get involved in dramatic arts. Our goal is to foster children’s love of creativity in a safe and supportive environment provided by our talented arts education experts.

Carousel Players’ March Break Camp guides participants through games, activities and experiences that teach them individual skills and also develop their personal creativity and imagination. We offer two camps for ages 4-6 and 7-10.

Stay tuned for more information about our March Break Camp in 2020!

Carousel Players’ March Break Drama Camp is an expansion of our successful summer programs. Summer Theatre School attracts enthusiastic students each summer to experience many aspects of the performing arts.

All of Carousel’s camps and classes are led by trained arts educators from the Niagara community.

The location for March Break Drama Camp will be in downtown St Catharines at The Robby (85 Church St, rear building). There is onsite parking and a drop-off area.

Camps run from 9 am to 4 pm each day.

The camp is a nut-free environment and there is always at least one adult certified in first aid on site at all times.

The building is not guareenteed to be nut free, as it is a community facilty with a shared kitchen. If allergies, nuts or otherwise, are a concern let us know and we will do our best to make arrangements to create a safe environment.

The age groups are arranged so that the children are at similar stages of social development. We don’t want anyone to feel too old or too young – they’re there to learn and have fun.

That said, if your child’s birthday is in the early winter/spring accomodations can be made.

No, Carousel Players does not provide snacks or lunches.

Please pack your child a nut-free lunch and snacks as needed. There is a fridge at camp to keep food chilled.

Yes, we welcome two volunteers aged 14 and up as assisstants at each camp. Volunteers may apply by emailing info@carouselplayers.com and will be asked to complete an interview.

Volunteering at March Break Drama Camp counts towards Community Involvment hours. Please bring the appropriate forms if you wish to apply these hours towards the program.

At Carousel Players, creating safe spaces for our employees, campers, and families is a priority. We implement a general health and safety plan that includes emergency exits, a fire safety plan, what to do in case of an accident, and how to respect allergies in our facility. We also have at least one staff member trained in first aid on site at all times.
